Description

You will build scalable microservices and optimize system performance in an Agile environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and optimize existing systems for high-traffic applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement database solutions using relational and NoSQL technologies.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms, including JWT and OAuth.
• Utilize AI coding assistants in daily development workflows to accelerate delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend Java engineering experience with Java 11+.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with ORMs such as Spring Data and Hibernate.
• Solid understanding of database design and relational/NoSQL systems.
• Practical experience with AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) in real development.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including JWT and OAuth.
• Active GitHub profile demonstrating personal projects, open source contributions, or launched side products.

Preferred Skills

• Proven track record of independently shipping products (SaaS, Chrome extensions, or revenue-generating projects).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on speed, iteration, and building outside of work.
