Description

You will build and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot in a continuous delivery environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Design software components using established design patterns.
• Write testable code following Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing principles.
• Integrate RESTful services and manage data exchange via XML and JSON.
• Collaborate in large-team environments using IntelliJ and Git.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of REST concepts and API design.
• Proficiency with XML and JSON data formats.
• Experience with Git and managed source control systems.
• Practical knowledge of Design Patterns.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile programs with a continuous delivery approach.
• Experience using IntelliJ or similar integrated development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
• Knowledge of the Twelve-Factor App methodology.
• Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
