Description

Bridge the gap between application development and site reliability by managing production systems and automating deployment lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for applications, databases, middleware, infrastructure, and network components.
• Manage production incidents end-to-end, performing root cause analysis (RCA) and meeting defined SLAs.
• Automate day-to-day activities and propose changes to improve system reliability and recovery time objectives.
• Review operational readiness, including monitoring, alerting, log rotation, and component resilience.
• Support DevOps efforts by testing promotion pipelines and automating configuration items.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or reliability roles.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and MQ brokers.
• Experience managing infrastructure and services on AWS.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database components.
• Experience using Splunk for log monitoring.
• Understanding of CI/CD basics and DevOps principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
