You will lead engineering teams and drive strategic technology planning for global applications development.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple professional teams, overseeing hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Direct strategic resource allocation, budget planning, and risk assessment for technology initiatives.
• Integrate applications development with the broader technology function to achieve organizational goals.
• Negotiate with senior leaders across functions and communicate with external parties to align on objectives.
• Define and enforce engineering standards and essential procedures across the organization.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of relevant experience in applications development.
• Proven experience managing global technology teams.
• Strong background in Java engineering and applications development.
• Expertise in project management and team management.
• Ability to assess risk and exercise evaluative judgment in dynamic situations.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with budget management and planning.
