Description

You will develop and support EHR SMART on FHIR applications within a healthcare context.

You will develop full-stack product features, including front-end components and backend systems, while collaborating with QA, Business Analysts, and technical publishers in an Agile environment. You will participate in architectural and database design discussions to influence product direction, create design specifications, technical documentation, and unit testing plans, and maintain software solutions post-production.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development or technical engineering.
• 2+ years of experience developing custom SMART on FHIR applications.
• Extensive experience with Java and Spring programming.
• Hands-on experience with the Java HAPI-FHIR library.
• Strong knowledge of FHIR Resources and OAuth2 basics.
• Proficiency in object-oriented (OO) design patterns, distributed databases, and data modeling.
• Experience developing distributed, scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications.
• Front-end development experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in the healthcare industry with familiarity with data security requirements like HIPAA, PHI, PCI, or SOX.
