Description

You will build and maintain streaming processing applications using Apache Flink and Java.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop streaming applications using Flink core concepts including windows, triggers, and joins.
• Design and implement microservices using the Spring framework and Spring Boot.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and version control using Jenkins and Git/GitHub.
• Mentor early-career engineers by providing technical tasks and guidance to grow their skillsets.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and data scientists to meet team commitments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java and Apache Flink for stream processing.
• Deep understanding of Spring Boot and the Spring framework.
• Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka fundamentals, security, and best practices.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools including Jenkins and Git/GitHub.
• Experience with application monitoring, observability, and performance assessment.
• Experience working in cloud environments such as OCP and AWS EMR.

Preferred Skills

• Experience running microservice-based applications in AWS.
• Background in the Cards and Payments domain.
