Architect and design scalable systems for Java-based applications, providing technical oversight and guiding development teams.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define system, technical, and application architectures for major development areas.
• Ensure quality and consistency of software architecture across the system.
• Research and implement best practice frameworks to control costs and increase service delivery predictability.
• Guide development teams technically and recommend cost-effective courses of action.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based software.
• Expertise in Core Java and Java EE, including Collections, Lambdas, Streams, and Concurrency.
• Proficiency with Spring MVC Framework, Spring Core, Spring Security, and Spring Data Persistence.
• Strong track record of successful architecture and delivery across large-scale software systems.
• Experience migrating applications to AWS and improving scalability and performance.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Experience with containerization platforms using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP API Clients and Web Services.
• Experience with Agile Scrum Development framework and Maven build tools.
