Description

You will design and develop scalable Java applications using microservices architecture within a banking Agile squad.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Java applications using microservices principles and established design patterns.
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP web services, integrating with message queues and Tomcat.
• Optimize database performance using SQL, PL/SQL, and tuning strategies, primarily with DB2.
• Build and integrate frontend components using Angular.
• Collaborate with global teams in Agile ceremonies and lead technical deliverables.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on experience with Java 1.8+.
• Strong proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Security frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with SOAP, MQ, and Tomcat.
• Frontend development and integration skills using Angular.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning, with DB2 preferred.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments with shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Domain knowledge in Lending products, Financial Markets, or Wealth Management.
• Experience using JIRA or similar ALM tools.
