Description

You will develop, maintain, and re-engineer web and batch applications using a Java-based stack.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Re-engineer existing web and batch applications to improve functionality.
• Debug complex application issues across the full stack.
• Manage database schemas using DDL and DML operations.
• Configure and maintain application servers for deployment.
• Build and manage application lifecycles using Maven and Gradle.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Expert knowledge of Core Java, including collections, threading, IO, and RMI.
• Proficiency in J2EE technologies: JSP, Servlet, EJBs, and Struts 1.3+.
• Experience with Spring, MVC, JDBC, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Hands-on work with SQL, including query building and table constraints.
• Experience with Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL databases.
• Experience with containerization using Docker for web and batch applications.
• Proficiency with SCM tools including SVN and GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience configuring JBoss, WAS, WASCE, or WildFly servers.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Node.js, AngularJS, and Angular 2+.
