Description

You will design and develop web applications and UI components while ensuring alignment with platform architecture and business context.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects to define conceptual designs and component-level logical designs.
• Design, mark up, and develop user interfaces for websites and single-page applications.
• Work with QA and integration teams to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with architecture vision.
• Provide technical solutions and guidance to offshore teams to manage assigned work.
• Identify and communicate project risks to leadership and domain experts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with 4-5 years in a lead capacity.
• Extensive experience with Java, J2EE, and the Spring suite (Core, Transaction, AOP, ORM, MVC, Data, Security, Session, Web Sockets, Cloud).
• Proficiency in WebSphere, Hibernate 3.2, and Struts 1.x/2.x.
• Experience building Web Services, RESTful services, and Microservices.
• Strong front-end skills using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with ExtJS and developing single-page applications.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Elasticsearch APIs, and Maven.
• Proficiency with JUnit, Jasmine, and Karma testing frameworks.
• Experience using GIT, JIRA, Confluence, and Business Process Modeling Language (BPML).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EJB2, Jenkins, Drools 5, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Background in cloud-based virtualized environments and responsive/mobile design.
