Description

You will build, optimize, and mentor teams for distributed systems in a complex production environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement, review, and optimize API endpoints using Spring Boot and Java.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of distributed systems.
• Mentor development staff through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
• Lead offshore teams and delegate tasks to ensure consistent delivery.
• Improve development processes to accelerate delivery and enhance code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Java/J2EE experience.
• 5+ years of SQL experience, preferably with Oracle.
• 1+ years of Angular2+ experience.
• Proficiency with Spring, Apache, Tomcat, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Microservices tools including Spring Boot, Netflix OSS, and Kafka.
• Experience with containerization and CaaS platforms.
• 6+ years of experience communicating technical concepts to non-developers.
• Strong background in TDD and aggressive refactoring.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• OpenShift experience.
• Agile methodology experience.
