Description

Design and build scalable banking IT solutions, collaborating with engineering teams to launch new features and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend and frontend components using the Java and JavaScript ecosystems.
• Implement integrations with core banking systems and third-party APIs.
• Build tools for fraud detection, risk analysis, and transaction monitoring.
• Manage DevOps activities including CI/CD pipeline setup and automated deployments.
• Provide technical estimates and project approaches alongside project managers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional IT experience, including 4+ years in software architecture and design.
• Proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Frontend expertise in React, Angular, or Node.js.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Database management with PostgreSQL, MS-SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Knowledge of messaging platforms like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience working within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Proficiency in Python and scripting languages.
• Strong command of Git or SVN and Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Multi-cloud experience, specifically with GCP.
• Knowledge of formal methods and techniques in software development.
