Description

You will build distributed compute and data-centric software solutions using Java 8+.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-native streaming applications using Kafka and the Spring Framework.
• Implement multithreading, collections, and functional programming patterns in Java.
• Build and maintain distributed message broker integrations.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues through deep research and analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of project experience in Java.
• 2+ years of experience building distributed compute or data-centric software.
• Advanced proficiency in Java 8+ including multithreading and functional programming.
• 1+ year of experience with Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience with distributed message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Amazon Kinesis.
• Strong oral and written business communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-speed map-reduce frameworks like Apache Flink, Apache Spark, or AWS EMR.
• Working knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Nexus, or Artifactory.
