Description

You will develop and maintain web-based applications using Java technologies, covering backend services, database design, and frontend integration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Core Java, focusing on multi-threading and the Executor framework.
• Build and integrate RESTful web services.
• Design and optimize SQL databases, including stored procedures.
• Deploy and manage applications on application servers like JBoss, Apache, or Tomcat.
• Maintain web interfaces using JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML, and modern JS libraries.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications with Java/J2EE.
• Proficiency in Core Java (multi-threading, Executor framework).
• Strong experience with Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and MyBatis.
• Proficiency in AJAX, XML/XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with SQL database design and performance tuning.
• Must have experience using GitHub Copilot in Agent mode for Java development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React or Angular.
• Experience building and deploying microservices in AWS.
