Description

Own the development of financial services applications using Java 8+ and Angular 10+ in a microservices architecture on OpenShift.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and Spring Security.
• Develop responsive UIs with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Handlebars.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on OpenShift using Jenkins and Git.
• Write and execute unit tests with JUnit, Mockito, and Jasmine to ensure code quality.
• Integrate downstream systems via RESTful and SOAP interfaces and troubleshoot system-wide issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience with 50/50 split between frontend and backend development.
• 6-7+ years of Java 8 and above; 4+ years of Microservice experience.
• 3-4+ years of Angular (version 10 or above); 2+ years of TypeScript.
• 4+ years of JavaScript; experience with HTML/CSS, JQuery, and Node/NPM.
• OpenShift container experience; packaging services as WAR files.
• Experience with financial services or banking domain.
• Proficiency with SVN, BitBucket, Jira, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Splunk, and Apache Tomcat.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Scaled Agile frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle databases and caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with Autosys scheduling tools.
