Description

Develop and enhance the middle office platform using Java, Angular, and Spring Boot. Collaborate with senior engineers and product teams to architect solutions, write clean code, and ensure service resiliency. Own the full development lifecycle from design to deployment in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces with Angular 11+, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Implement asynchronous messaging using IBM MQ or Kafka for inter-service communication.
• Write unit and integration tests using TDD/BDD practices to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to reusable libraries and architectural best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17 or higher, including Object-Oriented Design and Data Structures.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Front-end expertise in Angular 11+, including JavaScript and modern CSS/HTML.
• Experience with containerization using Docker.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as IBM MQ or Kafka.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and relational databases (Postgres/Oracle).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ruby on Rails application frameworks.
• Domain knowledge in Securities or Financial Services.
