Description

You will develop and maintain microservice applications through the full software development lifecycle, owning the process from requirement gathering to release.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Project Reactor.
• Implement integrations via REST, SOAP, and message queues.
• Manage CI/CD platform configurations and technical release tasks.
• Perform code reviews, refactoring, and automated testing with Selenium and Cucumber.
• Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Proficiency with Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, and Project Reactor.
• Experience with GraphAPI, MQ, REST, and SOAP-based integrations.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and Kubernetes container deployment.
• Application of Clean Code principles.
• Professional fluency in English and German (spoken and written).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Jenkins, Maven, Git, and Jira.
• Experience with OpenShift, including customizing DeploymentConfig, Route, Service, ConfigMap, and Secrets.
