Description

You will build, maintain, and migrate software applications to support strategic platform targets.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop program logic for new applications and modify existing application logic.
• Code, test, debug, document, and implement software applications.
• Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, and product evaluation.
• Maintain, test, and integrate application components to ensure successful system improvements.
• Partner with technology teams to implement target architecture.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience in Java development.
• At least 2 years of front-end development experience using Angular.
• 5+ years of experience with Java UI technologies including HTML5, React JS, Backbone JS, and Bootstrap.
• Strong proficiency in Java Core, Libraries, and Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, Webservices, SOAP, JSON, CXF, XML, XSD, JAXB, Hibernate, JUnit, and Maven.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
• Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.

Preferred Skills

• Financial services industry experience.
• Experience with the OSGi framework.
