You will build and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Java and modern web technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications following functional and design standards.
• Construct unit tests to ensure code compliance, quality, and performance.
• Contribute to component design and technical specification reviews with subject matter experts.
• Maintain system documentation and provide production support for applications.
• Implement risk and control processes to monitor and mitigate technical risk.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on application development experience.
• Extensive experience with Java (Core & EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, JMS, Tomcat).
• Experience with Microservices and Layered (SOA/MVC) architecture on AWS.
• Expertise deploying scalable solutions in Kubernetes and Docker containers.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and performance fine-tuning.
• Front-end experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and JSON.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP web technologies.
• Experience with SCM and CI/CD tools including Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, and Sonar.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as MQ, Solace, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.

• Experience integrating modern microservices with legacy systems.
