Description

You will build and maintain distributed systems using Java microservices and AWS cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy microservices using Java 8/11 and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement REST APIs and distributed messaging systems with Kafka.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Work within an Agile Scrum environment to deliver software following best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java 8, Java 11, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, Aurora PostgreSQL, MSK, SQS).
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Kafka and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Terraform and DevOps tools including Jenkins.
• Experience with at least one framework: NodeJS, ExpressJS, or Django.
• Database management experience with MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of OAuth and security protocols.
• Experience with JPA or Hibernate.

Preferred Skills

• Module lead experience and ability to work independently.
• AWS certification.
