Description

You will develop and maintain complex systems and infrastructure components within a SaaS environment, driving application development to deliver business-valuable features.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive application development focused on delivering business-valuable features.
• Mentor software engineers by providing technical assistance and direction.
• Maintain software quality by establishing engineering best practices and habits.
• Guide the team in developing structured code, design documentation, and user guides.
• Communicate with end users to direct development, debugging, and testing, including integrated and customer acceptance testing.

Required Skills

• Expert-level Java development, including object-oriented design and enterprise-scale patterns.
• Proficiency with the Spring framework.
• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining software in a SaaS environment.
• 2+ years of experience in a Java Developer role.
• Front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Angular (versions 4, 5, or 6).
• Strong fundamentals in CSS preprocessors such as LESS, SASS, or SCSS.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud services (CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, EC2, IAM, RDS).
• Experience with REST or SOAP-based web services, APIs, XML, and JSON.
• Strong unit testing ability with a focus on test-oriented separation of concerns and loose coupling.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Python, Node.js, or J2EE.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field.
