Description

You will design and deliver scalable applications, building core platforms, new user workflows, and APIs for streaming and content delivery products.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain the core content management platform using Java Spring Boot and Next.js/React.
• Design and implement new user flows, partner integrations, APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and cohesive user experiences.
• Champion software design principles, scalability, and security guidelines throughout the development lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues, guiding small to medium-sized projects from inception to delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java with Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with React.js and ideally Next.js for front-end development.
• Proficiency with Python for microservices or API development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Exposure to Apache Solr or NoSQL data stores like MongoDB, including concepts for handling unstructured data.
• In-depth knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Ability to independently drive projects and mentor junior team members.

Preferred Skills

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with CMS platforms and content delivery systems.
