Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications.
Develop backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
Develop responsive and reusable frontend components using Angular or React.
Design and integrate microservices-based architectures.
Work with relational databases and develop efficient SQL queries.
Participate in application design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Develop unit and integration tests to maintain application quality.
Support CI/CD processes and application deployments.
Troubleshoot production and non-production application issues.
Follow secure coding practices appropriate for financial services applications.
Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Java / Java 8+.
Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
Frontend development experience with Angular or React.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar.
Knowledge of SQL and database integration.
Experience with Git and version-control practices.
Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
Understanding of software design principles, application security, and scalable architectures.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good English communication skills for collaboration with global teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience within banking or financial services, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, Kafka or other messaging technologies, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools, and Agile development environments would be considered an advantage
