Description

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build modern web applications using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Implement unit tests with JUnit and ensure code quality via continuous integration.
• Optimize SQL queries and performance tuning for Oracle or MS SQL databases.
• Utilize Kafka for real-time data processing and Tomcat for deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and SonarQube.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Tomcat, and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience with container platforms like OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Strong background in CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
• Experience with API integrations using Apigee and SOAP web services (JAXB/JAX WS).
• Proficiency in React.js for responsive UI development.
• Experience with IBM BAM OE for business automation workflows and case management.

Preferred Skills

• Driving technical initiatives and proof of concepts using Generative AI.
