Description

Design, develop, and support enterprise-scale applications using J2EE and cloud-based architectures in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using the J2EE framework, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• Implement cloud-based solutions within AWS environments and build microservices using Java, XML, and web services.
• Manage application deployment and support through middleware technologies and DevOps toolchains.
• Collaborate with project teams to define application design, build processes, and target environment deployments.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in solution design and development using J2EE, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• 1-2 years of experience designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions.
• Proficiency with Java, XML, jQuery, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Experience with middleware including WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, and JBoss.
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Spinnaker, Maven, Gradle, and Groovy DSL.
• Experience implementing OAuth using Ping Identity.
• Hands-on experience with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Knowledge of API Management via Apigee and Service Mesh using Istio.
• Scripting proficiency in Unix and Python.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certification.
