Description

You will build and maintain server-side code for web and cloud-based applications using microservices and event-based architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and debug production-grade applications and server-side code.
• Design and implement high-level software architecture and complex enhancements.
• Develop prototypes and apply test-driven development and refactoring patterns like CQRS.
• Execute unit tests and collaborate with QA to review integration and regression test plans.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful services and API design.
• Experience with reactive microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of UI frameworks such as React, Knockout, or Angular.
• Experience with Python and Linux/Unix environments.
• Practical use of Git, Jenkins, Gradle, or Maven.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DevOps or DevSecOps practices.
• Understanding of financial business processes.
