Description

You will build and maintain scalable microservices using Java and the Spring Boot framework. You will own the full lifecycle from code to production.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, modular, readable, and testable Java code.
• Develop and implement REST API principles and best practices.
• Build and deploy microservices within AWS cloud environments.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Utilize CI/CD practices for production deployments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java.
• Strong proficiency with the Spring Boot framework.
• Deep understanding of REST API design.
• Hands-on experience building microservices architectures.
• Practical experience with AWS Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proficiency in CI/CD workflows and production deployment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams.
• Knowledge of basic web application security concepts.
• Ability to explain technical solutions to engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
