Develop and maintain large-scale distributed systems and mission-critical enterprise applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java applications using POJO, J2EE, JDBC, and Kafka.
• Translate business requirements into technical system designs.
• Write, troubleshoot, and maintain multi-threaded applications.
• Manage data using Cassandra as an operational database.
• Collaborate with internal technology teams to coordinate and deliver software systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Core Java and Spring framework expertise.
• Spring Boot for microservices and Spring MVC for RESTful Web Services.
• Spring IOC (Dependency Injection) and Spring JDBC.
• Kafka messaging and Spring transaction management.
• Cassandra database management.
• Multi-threading in Java and JSON parsing using Jackson or Gson.
• Memory and CPU profiling.
• Server-side design patterns.
• Unit testing using Mockito or similar frameworks.
• SQL, Oracle, and Linux/Unix environments.
• Build and deployment tools including Jenkins2, Maven, and Git.
• IntelliJ IDE and Tomcat application server.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM MQ, Tibco EMS, or other JMS-based middleware.
• Knowledge of Spring State Machine or BPM frameworks.
• Exposure to Grafana, Maven, and shell scripting.
