Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java and modern frontend frameworks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of backend services and APIs using scalable architectures and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive frontend interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue with TypeScript.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.
• Troubleshoot production issues and enforce best practices like code reviews and TDD.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot for API design.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework: React, Angular, or Vue.
• Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and Terraform for IaC.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration.
• Proficiency in designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka for event-driven architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of automation scripting using Python.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical initiatives.
