Description

Develop multi-tiered, low-latency distributed systems for address and checkout services.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain highly resilient distributed systems capable of handling large data volumes.
• Improve non-functional application aspects including latency, performance, and business investigations.
• Drive improvements in system quality, testability, and operational excellence.
• Contribute to technical design, implementation, and product vision by working backwards from customer needs.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with React, SQL, and AWS.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Experience designing and architecting new and existing systems.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
