Description

You will build and maintain resilient, low-latency distributed systems for address and checkout services, owning the full development lifecycle from technical design to operational excellence.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-tiered distributed systems capable of handling large data volumes with high reliability.
• Improve non-functional aspects of applications, including latency, performance, and business investigation capabilities.
• Drive improvements in system quality, testability, and operational excellence through rigorous engineering practices.
• Contribute to technical design and product vision by working backwards from customer needs.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Experience with React, SQL, and AWS.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Experience designing and architecting new and existing systems.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
