Description

Build and maintain scalable Java 17+ applications across monolithic and microservices architectures. You will own the full development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and production support in a financial services environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using Spring Boot and optimize solutions with MariaDB or MySQL.
• Deploy and support applications via Jenkins (VM-based) and OpenShift (OCP) containerized environments.
• Implement workflow engines such as Camunda or Activiti for business processes.
• Perform JVM and SQL performance tuning, monitor logs, and resolve production incidents quickly.
• Collaborate with cross-country teams using Agile/Scrum and take ownership of senior/lead tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in Maven and Gradle build systems.
• Experience with MariaDB, MySQL, and database optimization.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, and OpenShift (OCP) for deployment.
• Strong understanding of monolithic and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and production incident management.
• Strong English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• React 17+ for full-stack exposure.
• Banking, wealth management, or fintech experience with knowledge of investment products.
