Description

You will design, develop, and maintain 24/7 J2EE applications, providing technical leadership to small teams of developers.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of software applications and provide operational support.
• Develop detailed program specifications, application code, and unit tests for secure, W3C-compliant web applications.
• Prepare technical documentation and manage integration and regression testing processes.
• Implement security policies and ensure applications support multiple browsers and operating systems.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of systems development experience, including 6+ years with Java, Java EE, and Spring Boot.
• Strong proficiency in Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate, JPA, JDBC, SOA, and JAX.
• Expertise in developing client-facing web applications using Angular.
• Experience deploying and managing applications in JBoss containers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Deep understanding of the systems development life cycle and security best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Google Web Toolkit (GWT) for multi-browser support.
• Proven ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
