Java Full Stack Developer based in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Struts and Spring frameworks.
• Build and maintain application interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Implement middleware integrations using MQSeries, WebSphere Message Broker, or IBM Integration Bus.
• Deploy and manage applications across PCF and OpenShift cloud platforms.
• Support DevOps practices through automated build and deployment processes within Agile environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in application development.
• 5+ years of experience working with Java Struts.
• Extensive experience with modern Java development using the Spring framework.
• Proficiency in UI development with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as PCF or OpenShift.
• Experience with middleware including MQSeries, WMB, IIB, or IBM ODM.
• Working knowledge of REST, JDBC, SOAP, JMS, XML, JSON, HTTP, and SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kafka, NiFi, Groovy, Python, Maven, or the Elastic stack.
• Experience with Jenkins, Nexus, or IBM Urban Code Deployment.
