Description

You will own the development, maintenance, and reengineering of web and batch applications. Your focus is on improving functionality, stability, and deployment efficiency across the full stack.

Responsibilities

• Reengineer existing web and batch applications to enhance functionality and system stability.
• Debug complex application issues spanning frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Manage database operations, including query optimization, table creation, and data manipulation.
• Configure and manage application servers such as JBoss, WAS, or Wildfly for production deployment.
• Implement containerization strategies using Docker for both web and batch processes.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Core Java, including collections, threading, IO, and exception handling.
• Extensive experience with J2EE, JSP, Servlet, EJB, Struts 1.3+, and MVC patterns.
• Proficiency in Spring, JDBC, Hibernate, and JPA frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, AngularJS, and Angular 2+.
• Strong SQL skills (DML, DDL) working with Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL.
• Proficiency with Maven and Gradle build tools.
• Experience with SCM tools including SVN and GitLab CI/CD.
• Practical experience using Docker for containerization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in reengineering legacy web and batch applications.
