Description

You will build and maintain scalable microservices and API-driven applications using Java and AWS within an Agile environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy RESTful services and microservices using Java.
• Build cloud-native applications on AWS infrastructure.
• Implement unit tests and apply Test Driven Design (TDD) to ensure code quality.
• Manage code versioning and deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the full stack.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Java and Object-Oriented development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in RESTful/API and microservices development.
• 2+ years of AWS development experience.
• 5+ years of IT delivery experience.
• 3+ years of working in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Experience with unit testing using JUnit.
• Experience with CI/CD environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular or Node.js systems.
• Knowledge of Openshift, Ansible, or Jenkins.
• Experience within the healthcare information domain.
