Description

You will build and maintain scalable microservices on AWS, focusing on Java/Spring Boot backends and cloud-native observability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop resilient microservices using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Python/Shell scripting.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka and REST services.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on AWS ECS, EKS, and Lambda.
• Configure observability and monitoring using Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3-4 years in the Banking domain.
• Proficiency in Core Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Python or Shell Scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, REST services, Cassandra, and CockroachDB.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud-native development (ECS, EKS, Lambda).
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Solid understanding of system design, microservices, and domain-driven design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices and application resiliency patterns.
• Background in security architecture.
