Description

You will build and maintain Java-based microservices integrated with Kafka for real-time data exchange.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement Kafka producers, consumers, topics, and partitions for event-driven architectures.
• Design and query relational databases using SQL.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for service communication.
• Integrate message queues and microservices patterns.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions).
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Experience implementing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Message Queue systems (e.g., IBM MQ, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices design patterns.
• Knowledge of additional message queue systems.
