Description

You will build and maintain backend microservices and business logic for life insurance products.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement business logic for quoting, rate referencing, and insurance product workflows.
• Develop cloud-native microservices using Java and Kotlin.
• Maintain parallel systems using C# to ensure environment symmetry.
• Integrate backend services with Salesforce data and processes.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical logic.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin for backend programming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS serverless functions and Lambda.
• Experience building and deploying microservices.
• Practical knowledge of C#.
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Ability to work with data-heavy environments.
• Degree in any field of study.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular or React for full-stack tasks.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Salesforce development.
