Description

You will design, develop, and troubleshoot software components for risk technology products within an agile environment. You write secure, high-quality code with limited guidance and consider upstream and downstream system implications.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple system components.
• Analyze large, diverse data sets to identify problems and support secure, stable application development.
• Apply SDLC toolchain knowledge to improve automation and value realization.
• Design and code with consideration for upstream and downstream system implications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and REST.
• Strong experience with SQL and database querying languages.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, and testing.
• Practical experience developing and maintaining code within large corporate environments.
• Knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Exposure to agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with front-end technologies including Angular, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Exposure to AWS and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience building Microservices for public or internal cloud platforms.
