Description

You will build and maintain scalable applications using Java and reactive programming patterns.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features iteratively to build out large-scale applications.
• Modify and enhance existing software to add features while improving the codebase.
• Participate in work estimation and sprint planning within an agile/scrum process.
• Coordinate application implementation and test functionality to meet technical specifications.
• Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary development team to solve complex problems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of related software engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Java 8 or above.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Reactive.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of multi-threading, TCP/IP, and databases.
• Experience designing and consuming REST-based JSON APIs.
• Competency with Maven, Git, and GitHub.
• Practical knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and JUnit.
• Experience working within DevOps toolchains, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Preferred Skills

• Front-end experience with JavaScript, Angular (2+), or React.
• Experience with pair programming and UI testing.
• Knowledge of Jenkins and GitHub Enterprise in a commercial software environment.
