Description

Design and build scalable, user-facing components for investment management applications using Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, intuitive user interfaces and server-side business logic for portfolio management, asset tracking, and trade execution.
• Architect and implement resilient, scalable solutions capable of handling high loads and increasing data volumes.
• Write and maintain unit, component, and integration tests to ensure code reliability and coverage.
• Collaborate with global teams and business stakeholders to define requirements and guide technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide critical analysis of proposed changes during code reviews.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience developing enterprise-scale Java systems with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals with a focus on software development best practices.
• Experience designing microservices and distributed systems.
• Solid experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Proven ability to communicate directly with business stakeholders and manage end-user expectations.
• Understanding of financial markets and instruments, specifically Equity and multi-asset classes.
• Experience working independently in an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C# and .NET for application development.
