Description

Lead the design and delivery of high-performance Java applications, owning the full stack from backend services to micro-frontend interfaces. You will drive architectural decisions, manage cloud deployments, and ensure code quality across the development lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Implement micro-frontend architectures using React and manage database version control with Liquibase.
• Design and deploy applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes, utilizing Helm for package management.
• Optimize application performance, focusing on memory management, concurrency, and profiling.
• Enforce SOLID principles and design patterns while maintaining high-quality standards through comprehensive testing.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of hands-on experience with Java (v.8+) and Core Java, including deep knowledge of concurrency and memory management.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot (v.2+, v.3+), Spring Batch, Spring JDBC, and Hibernate JPA.
• Strong experience with React and Micro Frontend Architecture.
• Practical knowledge of Kafka for event streaming and workflow engines like JBPM/Camunda.
• Experience with distributed caching solutions such as Oracle Coherence.
• Hands-on experience deploying to AWS cloud services and managing containers with Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks including JUnit, Mockito, and PowerMock.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with API Gateway patterns and implementations.
• Experience with OpenShift (ApaaS) environments.
