Description

Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise-grade Java applications and microservices on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices for engineering teams.
• Design and build scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Architect event-driven solutions using Kafka and integrate systems via RESTful APIs.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and DynamoDB.
• Develop GenAI-powered business solutions using Amazon Bedrock, LLMs, and RAG frameworks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices development.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS, and S3.
• Experience designing event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI Agent development.
• Proficiency in Oracle database schema design, optimization, and data modeling.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Ability to review code quality, performance, and security compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Bedrock for GenAI integration.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with Product Managers and Stakeholders.
