Description

Lead application development by designing and implementing scalable Java and Spring Boot solutions. Own the release pipeline, ensuring high code quality through comprehensive unit, integration, and performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Manage data utilization with RDBMS expertise in SQL and PL/SQL alongside NoSQL database familiarity.
• Analyze applications for security vulnerabilities and apply OAuth2, token-based security, and API security best practices.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and serve as SME to stakeholders on best practices.
• Collaborate with global development teams to deliver business solutions and meet project requirements.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of relevant experience in enterprise application development with proven lead developer experience.
• Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Strong proficiency with JPA/Hibernate, SQL, PL/SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with OAuth2, token-based security, and API security best practices.
• Proficient in event streaming using Kafka.
• Experience with testing frameworks including JUnit and Mockito.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Redis caching, and WebSphere.
• Experience with AI software engineering tools like Devin.AI and Copilot.
• Knowledge of legacy technologies such as JSP/Servlets, EJB, and SOAP integrations.
