Description

You will own baseline architecture implementations, design activities, and the evolution of existing services with minimal guidance. You will define feature requirements, deliver product improvements, and provide technical guidance on development standards, automation, and tools.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and high-performance microservices and REST APIs.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and solve complex implementation challenges.
• Support Tier 1 applications through strong debugging and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define feature requirements and drive R&D on new frameworks.
• Enforce software development best practices including ATDD/BDD and unit testing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of full stack engineering experience in production environments.
• Expert programming skills in Java/JEE, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with modern web frameworks, specifically AngularJS, JavaScript, CSS, and JSON.
• Knowledge of Node.js or Express.js and messaging systems.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to operate effectively independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT required.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a related discipline.
• Experience with C++, Scala, Python, or Shell scripting.
