Description

You will own the full software development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment of Java-based applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, J2EE, and SQL.
• Write and optimize Oracle-based stored procedures and manage relational database interactions.
• Develop and integrate web services using RAD and WebSphere.
• Create system test plans, scenarios, and schedules; coordinate defect reporting and validation.
• Facilitate peer reviews and collaborate with business analysts and QA teams to ensure requirements are met.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java and J2EE development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
• Experience with Web Services, RAD, and WebSphere.
• Understanding of data structures and data migration concepts.
• Ability to analyze user requests and formulate development plans.
• Experience with object-oriented analysis and design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HHSC systems.
