Description

You will own the full lifecycle development of a dealer-facing application, driving cloud migration, security remediation, and feature enhancements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of applications from Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities using Fossa, SonarQube, Checkmarx, and 42Crunch.
• Execute periodic technology upgrades for Spring Boot and Java versions.
• Develop and deploy solutions for production issues, bugs, and stakeholder-requested features.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to optimize GCP resources for scalability and performance.

Required Skills

• 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Core Java, and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with React.
• Experience with RESTful API development and Hibernate.
• Proven track record with cloud migration, specifically to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Competency with security and code quality tools including SonarQube, Checkmarx, and Fossa.
• Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with PCF to GCP migration projects.
• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and modern security protocols.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools.
