Description

You will build and maintain scalable web applications across the entire SDLC.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into high-level and low-level design artifacts.
• Develop scalable software components and manage the full development lifecycle from requirements gathering to production support.
• Write unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Investigate and resolve production environment issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with global teams to communicate design decisions and project status.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience in software development.
• Advanced Java knowledge including multi-threading, JDBC, Reflections, Generics, and the Collection framework.
• J2EE and Spring-based web application development.
• Front-end development using JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, or ReactJS.
• In-depth SQL database knowledge.
• Linux/UNIX environment experience including command-line and server-side scripting.
• Proficiency with GIT for source control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading smaller teams within a large development organization.
