Description

You will design, build, and maintain microservices in a cloud-native environment, owning the full lifecycle from development to deployment. You will lead architecture and design decisions while independently delivering high-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy RESTful APIs using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Bamboo for multiple environments.
• Run and manage containerized applications in AWS, DC/OS, or Kubernetes.
• Apply microservices architecture and 12-factor app principles to ensure scalability.
• Provide thought leadership on system design, architecture, and development best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with Java, Object-Oriented Programming, and functional programming with Scala.
• 4-5 years of specific experience developing REST APIs with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD processes and DevOps tools.
• Experience configuring pipelines in Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, DC/OS).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and 12-factor applications.

Preferred Skills

• 1-2 years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD implementation.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as ReactJS, Backbone, or Angular.
• Experience with NodeJS for Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns or GraphQL.
